Google Services Icons by TraumaD91 Google Services Icons by TraumaD91
These are some Google service icons I did to more closely match elementary OS. Let me know what you think. :)

UPDATE 06/17/2013: *Added: chrome-store, fusion-tables, google-apps-script, google-drawings, google-forms, google-maps, google-books, google-movies, google-sheets, google-slides, hangouts, and youtube. *Remame a few icons. *Created .desktop files. *Added README.txt with some install instructions. and some other small stuff.

Disclamer: I have not tested the launchers on any computer but my own so I don't know if they will work for everybody.

Good work! Have you tried to get them added to the official icon pack?

I personally think the outlines on Chrome Store are too dark, while being too dim on Keep and GMail.

Thank you! I have not but the elementary team has said in the past that they do not intend on making icons for third-party apps or in this case web-apps so I don't think it would do any good. You are right and some of the colors look washed out too. To be honest I would like to redo the whole set and make them better at some point and time but I just haven't found the time. Thank you for the suggestions I hope some day I can get around to redoing them :)

That is weird because they actually include icons for Word documents, GMail and Facebook in their official icon pack. Besides this would make it an awful lot harder to have decent looking third-party app icons on elementary... Maybe you should ask someday :)

Hi there! I am working on a free elementary apex icon theme. I would ask you by this way if I could use your icons for it.

So, I am in my home/"myname"/.local/share/applications
-- right clicked on "google keep" desktop config rile > opened Scratch.
-- this is what i have
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Name=Google Keep
Exec=/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --app-id=hmjkmjkepdijhoojdojkdfohbdgmmhki --profile-directory=Default
Terminal=false
Icon=google-keep
Type=Application
Categories=Network;WebBrowser;
StartupWMClass=crx_hmjkmjkepdijhoojdojkdfohbdgmmhki

what next?  is the .svg icon suppose to automatically change it?
or do i need to add the .svg to home/myname/.desktop?

Just make sure that the .svg files are in /home/"yourname"/.icons/elementary/apps/"32,48,64,&128"/ and that should work. Sometimes you have to logout and login or reboot for the changes to take effect.
